My wife and I were attending a wedding in Weatherford and wanted to find a great place to stay while in the area. We found that place with The Old Liberty Schoolhouse bed and breakfast. Zan and Cash were excellent hosts, the breakfast was delicious, and the accommodations were great. Thank you TOLS for a wonderful experience!

What a wonderful find. Truly the nicest B&B room we have ever stayed in. Breakfast on the patio was the best breakfast we’ve had all week while staying at nice B&Bs. The owner helped us find a quaint little place for dinner and went out of her way to make sure we had all we needed. Wonderful gated entry leading you on a trail up to the home. Beautiful rolling hilltop view from the porch. We highly recommend staying here and hope to be back soon.

It's hard to say what I was most impressed with about our stay at the Liberty Schoolhouse. Among other aspects, the owners, the suite, and the breakfast had to be the top three. The owners are so incredibly kind and accommodating. We received clear communication via email and text, we were greeted so sweetly upon arrival by name, we were given a personal tour of the property, and the most special bonus - getting to know the owners and confirming that they truly are so genuine and so special! We stayed in "The Schoolyard Suite," which is the most charming thing I've ever seen. The decor is lovely, with so many special touches! There are numerous complimentary drink options and snacks, a fluffy bed, a delightful remote-controlled fireplace, a large closet for hanging items, a nice sitting area (complete with fresh flowers), and a substantial bathroom with fresh towels, robes, & slippers. Then, there's the breakfast - oh my goodness, one of the best breakfasts I've had in my lifetime. It was brought to us on the sweetest decorated platter to the sweetest patio table just outside the doors of the suite. It was beautifully-presented, fresh, amazing, and I ate every single crumb. My partner and I came to Texas for a wedding in the Fort Worth area. The Old Liberty Schoolhouse was a quick half hour drive and worth every bit of it. The room was beautifully decorated and spotless. Our suite had a private patio where we lounged in the sun. We enjoyed coffee while watching the sunrise in luxurious robes that were available in our room. Our breakfast was delicious, including a warm croissant with hazelnut spread, a raspberry parfait, and the sweetest little heart shaped baked casserole. Zan and Cash were kind, attentive, and all around lovely folks.

We had a great staycation getaway at this lovely B&B with stellar hosts Zan and Cash. Close enough to Fort Worth to drive in for dinner, but far enough from the city to make you feel like you're a country girl. We loved having breakfast served to us on the porch so we could enjoy the birds and the butterflies.

Don't hesitate about staying here, you will love it! My husband and I went for a quick relaxing get away and it didn't disappoint. There is so much history contained in the original structure and has been kept so well. Our room was spotless, inviting, and comfortable. We were greeted with a personalized welcome sign and our breakfast each morning was amazing which made us feel extra special! We would recommend without hesitation and are hoping we can visit again.

We were there for a wedding in Weatherford but decided to stay in Azle. Very quiet and peaceful. Woke up every morning to birds singing and the smell of bacon. The hosts were wonderful, food was delicious and our suite was lovely. Highly recommend! 🤩

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. It was quiet and peaceful. Delicious breakfast in the morning delivered to our room. My wife cried when she saw how beautiful the property was—including our room. We highly recommend this place for couples looking to get away!
