Nostalgic facility, with a fabulous host named Jeanne! She made everyone feel at home and made some fabulous muffins to boot. It's not a modern facility, but it has all the basics covered. It's the experience Jeanne provides that makes it fabulous! Well done!

As always, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Northland Lodge. The rooms are cosy and quiet and Stacy's warm hospitality makes everyone feel at home. After a long hike, it is lovely to come back to a B&B that has character and warmth, rather than a sterile hotel room. The simple breakfast is tasty and almost always accompanied by good conversation with like-minded guests.

Great base to explore Waterton Lakes Park, just steps from the trailheads of two different trails and easy walking distance into town for evening meals. As everyone says, the muffins are excellent! But also worth emphasizing the friendly and welcoming hosts and the great stock of games/books/movies in the common room.

This was one of the most pleasant stays we have ever experienced, and that is coming from experienced world travelers. Waterton, and Northland Lodge particularly are special places. I could go on about the beauty of the lake and mountains. The best. But it was Jeanne, who manages everything, the people of this small town, and our fellow guests that made this so special to us. Warm muffins (really, really good muffins!) and hot coffee were waiting for us each morning along with the chance to enjoy them with friends we made. Jeanne and the locals had plenty of stories and advice, but she was just as interested in our stories. And whether it was sitting in the red Adirondack chairs enjoying a freshly made doughnut, or looking up at the stars from the upper deck, we could feel the cares of the world just melt away. The room we had was very comfortable, but not luxurious. The bed was good and the water was hot, and Jeanne was quick to respond to questions and little requests we made.In summary, this is not a party palace. But if you are looking for beauty, peace, fun, and want to make some new friends, you will find these at Northland Lodge.

The experience was pure excellence from a bit of an early check in until checking out. The hostess, Jeannie, was very informative about all things Waterton, history, drives, hikes, restaurants etc. The Northland Lodge itself has an interesting history and you can find much information on their website. The morning coffee is better than any of the coffee houses downtown and her muffins are to die for. The establishment is in a nice quiet neighborhood and the bed was comfortable. We hope to visit again and stay longer!

Located near Cameron Falls, it is a charming place. There is parking out back [follow the instructions from the sign out front]. I had the ‘Dutch Boy Blue’ room on the second floor. There were two entrances with two different keys. The room is cozy in size. The toilet, sink and shower are all separate. There is a small fridge. There is no desk and chair but you can use the main floor sitting room. The Cape Cod chairs outside are also inviting. A microwave was available on the main floor. There is no housekeeping unless requested. You can have breakfast from 0730 with java and 0800 with muffins, a chance to mingle with the other residents [there are just nine rooms]. My personal favourite were the maple syrup muffins. The lodge is in the southwestern sector of the town, certainly within walking distance of restaurants. If you need more space in a room, more items like a desk and chair plus coffee/tea facilities in the room this lodge is not for you. If you can do without for a few days you will find a place with character run by down to earth Stacey.

My friend and I stayed three nights in September, the first night being in the Bear's Den. We enjoyed this room the most, even though it doesn't have a view, because it had plenty of room, a full fridge and a separate bathroom, sink included in the bathroom. I found the beds exceptionally comfortable, and all linens were fresh from hanging outside on the line. The breakfast room was cozy, nicely set out, great coffee and muffins. We met some lovely people as well. And let's not forget our hostess, Jean, and friends, who were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this lodge and will plan on staying here on our next visit.

Gemütliche Unterkunft bei warmherzigen Besitzern. Immer jederzeit gerne wieder! Und Waterton ist (noch) ein Geheimtipp unter den National Parks.

It feels like a quaint & comfortable home away from home here. Actually, it's better than that. Morning coffee & fresh baked muffins without having to do any work. The blueberry jam and blueberry pie are absolutely delicious. Thank you for making our stay memorable, warm and cozy. This is a historic building (1928) with lots of character from a different time period, so if you desire something super modern, this is not it. A nice location within walking distance of the business district & restaurants. The living & dining areas are a nice place to meet other travelers to discuss each others hiking experiences and other travels. You never know who you'll meet. We were visiting after the tourist season and some of the businesses were already closed for the winter. Even the Prince of Wales hotel was closed for the season. It was like we had the whole place to ourselves. it was a very relaxing stay. We will be back.

Great hostess at historic lodge on edge of Waterton Park town - very convenient to restaurants in town but enough out of town to be very quiet. Room was very small but very charming. Great views from the deck. One of the other guests we met had been coming for 25 years. Not one of the big "national park lodges" - had about 8 rooms so was very cozy. Lovely common living room to sit and relax in.
