My husband I are well-seasoned travelers and the Dove Tail Cabin at Alaska Adventure Cabins is easily among the top 3 hotels/cottages we have ever experienced. The view is absolutely breath-taking. The cabin is nicely appointed with everything you need to prepare a meal or just relax. After a few days of hustle and bustle exploring AK, when we arrived at Homer, we just wanted to hang out and do nothing. This cabin was perfect for this - excellent Wi-Fi, a smart TV with Netflix, Roku, YouTube, etc., a CD player/Radio as well as a variety of old-fashioned games. All I really wanted to do was sit on the balcony and stare at the water and mountains. It may be noteworthy that the spiral staircase may be difficult for someone with mobility issues - not a problem for us, but just in case that is important. And our host Evelyn was a gem - available when we needed her, but left us alone to enjoy the property. My highest recommendation!

I love the boat cabin! they made a boat into a cabin it has three floors and two tvs and three porches and three bathrooms and a pullout bed and two bedrooms (one has a bed in front of it!) excellent cable and Wi-Fi when you first get in there going down or up since boats are tilted you’ll get a little dizzy and there’s a great ocean view! (But you can’t go down there 🙄) anyway great cabins!

We stayed aboard the double eagle and it was absolutely fantastic! Very comfortable, excellent views, eagle's nest, absolutely everything you could ask for. Very clean, close to everything. I would HIGHLY recommend it. Our hosts were fantastic and very helpful. Definitely 10+ stars!

This is my second stay with Alaska Adventure Cabins. This trip, my friends and I stayed in the Double Eagle. What an experience! The Double Eagle was clean and well appointed. This included a welcome basket of fruits and candy. While the living facilities were outstanding, there were no words to describe the views from the decks. Karen and Brian are excellent host and are very informative, in preparation of your trip. In turn, their focus, while in Alaska, is your comfort and making your stay excellent. Wife and I stayed in the moose caboose and had a great time! We had not even finished moving our suitcase in when we spotted a pair of humpback whales not far from shore. Comfortable beds, great views, great access to Homer, would stay here again!
